"I want to provide the best representation possible and develop lasting relationships with my clients based on respect and loyalty," commented MacBlane. "Working together as a team will allow me better serve my clients."
Meghan MacBlane began her experience with Bellinger & DeWolf, LLP as a summer associate in the summer of 2005. MacBlane then went on to join the firm in August, 2006. What attracted her to the firm was the depth of experience she saw in the partners and her ability to interact daily with them. MacBlane also liked that she would be exposed to and would gain experience in a variety of practice areas.
During law school, MacBlane was the Associate Managing Editor of The Digest, National Italian American Bar Association Law Journal. She was also selected as a Criminal Justice Teaching Fellow, where she set up a student court in a Syracuse City High School that served as an alternative to suspension programs and allows students to go in front of a court of their peers to be held accountable for negative behavior. The fellowship also worked in conjunction with the New York Attorney General in implementing the Students Against Violence Initiative (SAVI) in high schools, a program created to decrease abuse and violence in high schools.
Additionally, MacBlane completed a summer internship program in Syracuse at the Onondaga County District Attorney's Office, which extended into her second year of law school.
