Walt Suberg joined Bellinger & DeWolf, LLP in 1996. He has 15 years of legal experience, having represented clients locally, regionally and nationally in the areas of business counseling, organizational structure, licensing, complex contract negotiation and preparation and negotiation and settlement of business disputes.
Typically, Suberg is involved with real estate transactions ranging from $1 million to $150 million in value. He has represented developers and builders in various types of real estate transactions, including acquisition, development, construction, zoning, leasing, management, financing and disposition of numerous existing and proposed real estate projects. These transactions involved apartments, warehouses, office buildings, single retail sites, regional mall shopping centers, hotels and single family lots. He also has represented individuals, custom builders and national construction company regarding negotiation and preparation of construction and construction management contracts, development and preparation of warranties, bonding issues and dispute settlement. His clients also include private and institutional lenders involved in real estate and commercial transactions and workout transactions.
Suberg began his legal career with Arter & Hadden LLP in Dallas in 1989, where he met and worked with Glen Bellinger and Steve DeWolf. While there, he focused on effecting real estate transactions for major commercial property developers. In 1995, he joined McManemin & Smith, P.C. where he expanded his real estate practice to serve multi-family residential developers.
